Raxi Win APK SHA-256 Fingerprint Checker

Updated 8 October 2026 · 5 minute read

A file with a name like raxiwin.apk can arrive from two chats and still be two different files. This tool works out each file’s 64-character SHA-256 fingerprint on your phone, so you can compare copies. The file is never uploaded.

Tool · runs in your browserNothing is uploaded

The file stays on your device. It is read by your browser to work out the fingerprint and is never uploaded.

Spaces, colons and capital letters are fine.

Worked example, not your file. A tiny made-up file stands in for an app file here, so you can see what the result looks like. Choose your own file above and this is replaced.

Nothing to comparewhat the checker says about the example file example-game-from-chat.apk
64characters in a SHA-256 fingerprint (0–9 and a–f)
56 bytessize of the example file (real app files are millions of bytes)
50 4b 03 04first four bytes in hex: how every Android app file begins

example-game-from-chat.apk is 56 bytes here (a real app file is millions of bytes, but the method is the same). No publisher printed a fingerprint for it, so there is nothing to hold it against. The checker can show the file’s fingerprint, but the file stays unchecked.

What we know about a Raxi Win file

At the time of writing (8 October 2026) we know of no app file for Raxi Win and of no fingerprint printed for one. The page at raxi8.com has a download icon at the top right, which we did not click, so we cannot say what it offers. Its “Add to Desktop” prompt saves a shortcut to the web page. That is not a file and needs no check. A file that reaches you in a chat or from a listing is one we know nothing about, and this tool cannot say it is the right one.

It can do three narrower things. It can show whether two copies are the same file, whether a file matches a value somebody gave you, and whether it even begins like an app file.

A fingerprint is a string of 64 characters, the digits 0 to 9 and the letters a to f, worked out from every byte of a file. A byte is the unit a file is counted in. The file’s name is not part of the sum, and changing one byte changes the whole string.

Three ways to use it

  1. Compare two copies. Choose the first file and copy the 64 characters under it. Choose the second file, then paste that value into the box for the publisher’s fingerprint. Matches means the files are identical, whatever they are called. This is the check for one “app” that arrives from two chats.
  2. Compare with a value you were given. Choose your file and paste the value. Spaces, colons, capitals and a SHA256 label are ignored.
  3. Look at how the file begins. An Android app file is a ZIP archive, which packs many files into one, so it starts with the four bytes 50 4b 03 04. Any other start draws a warning.

A worked example: one bit

The box opens on a made-up file, example-game-from-chat.apk, only 56 bytes long (a real app file runs to millions). With nothing printed for it, the result is “Nothing to compare”: the tool shows the fingerprint and leaves the file unchecked.

The same file, one bit flipped50 4b 03 048b70b71a
A saved web page with the same name3c 68 74 6d5bc7ad69

Flip one bit in the last byte and 131 of the 256 bits of the fingerprint change, about half. There is no “almost the same”. The third row begins 3c 68 74 6d, which spells “<htm”: a web page wearing an app-file name. The tool warns about it even when its fingerprint matches a printed value.

Where a printed value should come from

A value printed beside the download link proves little, because whoever swapped the file could swap the number. Look for it on a second page that you reached by typing the address yourself, and read that page’s address with the link checker first. For a file named after Raxi Win we know of no such page, so “Nothing to compare” is the result to expect.

A signing-certificate fingerprint is also 64 characters, but it describes the signature, not the file, so it will never match here.

Using a computer instead

A browser holds the whole file in memory, so the tool stops at about 1.5 GB. Any computer can print the same 64 characters.

SystemCommand
Windows PowerShellGet-FileHash .\file.apk -Algorithm SHA256
Windows Command Promptcertutil -hashfile file.apk SHA256
macOSshasum -a 256 file.apk
Linuxsha256sum file.apk

Replace file.apk with your file’s name.

What a match leaves out

A match shows one thing: this file is the same as the one the value was made from. It says nothing about who published it, what it does or whether it is the newest version. After a match, run the twelve checks of the install checklist, and read the Raxi Win APK guide for what we know about files under this name. The other free tools are one page up.

Common questions

Can two files named after Raxi Win have different fingerprints?

Yes. The name is not part of the sum, so two files called raxiwin.apk from two places can differ in one byte or in every byte, and their fingerprints will then differ. Matching fingerprints, not matching names, is what makes two files identical.

Why does the tool say Nothing to compare for a file from a chat?

The tool can show your file’s fingerprint, but you gave it no value to hold the number against. For a file under this name that is the usual case, because we know of no printed value. The file stays unchecked, which calls for more care and is not a pass.

Is a signing-certificate fingerprint the same as a file’s fingerprint?

No. A signing-certificate fingerprint is also 64 characters, but it describes the signature inside the app, not the whole file. It will not match the value this tool works out, so a mismatch against one is not a warning about the file.

What are the first four bytes the tool shows?

They are how the file begins, written as pairs of hex digits (0–9 and a–f). An Android app file is a ZIP archive, and every ZIP archive starts with 50 4b 03 04. A different start, such as 3c 68 74 6d for a saved web page, means the file is not packed like an app.

Does the file leave my phone while the tool reads it?

No. Your browser reads the file on your phone and works out the fingerprint there. The tool makes no upload and no request while it does, and it keeps nothing once you close the page.

What if my file is bigger than the tool can read?

A browser has to hold the whole file in memory, so the tool refuses anything above about 1.5 GB. Use the command for your computer from the table on this page. Windows, macOS and Linux each have one built in, and they print the same 64 characters.
